That's unusually good performance in muzzle velocity from the break barrel Diana 45 with extra heavy 11+ grain pellets. The Diana 48, a side-cocking model, is even more powerful.
Springers just cannot compete with PCPs.
I will not pest with my springers and in fact will not use anything less than a 25.4 grain .25 pellet, as .177 is an ice pick and shots can go wrong while that pellet is on it's way.
This is my .25 Condor I built with a Lothar barrel, shoots up to 70 grain cast slugs, but JSB 25.4 grain works well on mosts pests.![]()
