...and still shoot Bulk Barn ammo out of it?
Looks like the barrel can be easily and quickly removed/replaced; there should be plenty of aftermarket specialty barrels available in no time.
Of course. A good gun will shoot non match ammo better than a poor gun will shoot it and I can always buy better ammo. Part of the fun/interest is seeing how much accuracy you can get out of things. When I'm loading V-Max for the .223 I know it will shoot the 68gr BTHP better, but I still load the V-Max for accuracy.

Ok so shot all day today with the T1X as the feature rifle.
Shot from bags with 2 piece rail,and warne fixed rings
Scope is a leupold Br 24 with target dot of .250
The gun is 20” barrel in 22lr with the Tikka T3 Varmint stock with no shoe horn. Rear action screw at 30inch pounds and front at 40 inch pounds. It was a very bright day no clouds and sun rises directly into my eyes for the first half of the day. There no wind really and the temp was a hair above freezing. I’m not the best shooter I know but I’m an intermediate shooter.
I shot 5 into a sight in target then 5 at the target in the picture I really only bore snaked the barrel twice today and shot a fair amount. Here is the results.

With 1.905" at 50 and 0.84" groups at twice the range, American Eagle seems to be better for longer distances. No wonder so many like it. I have to look for some.

it's surprisingly good... some lots are incredible. some are average.
Anything that shoots better the further out you go has to be good ammo. At 300 yards it must be close to .5 MOA.

Same with the CCI MiniMags . . . Round Nose or Hollow Point?
Took the T1 out to 100 yards today, as you know the benchmark for rimfire accuracy is 1 MOA, I think this test today proved that with the right lot number of ammo this rifle is definitely capable of holding that mark, it was very close at 50 yards and although i failed the 5 groups under 1/2 inch challenge I got very very close on multiple counts, as you can see I am getting a 10% flier mixed into this lot number......but I have a benchmark, next trip out will be the same ammo at 100 and action screw torque testing followed by a return to the 5 group challenge at 50. I started with a clean bore this morning and the rifle settled in right away and by 15 shots through the rifle was printing some amazing results at 50 yards, Now that we've confirmed enough with the factory stock it's time to hot rod this baby and tweak and tune it, then take it out to 200 and 300 on the next dead calm day after the 100 yard tune up. Once again the magazine, feeding, and ejecting all ran flawless, I haven't found any fault with the rifle yet other then the delivery date. How does it compare to the CZ now that we've danced together a little more?? well.....the synthetic stock really takes away from quality and desirability of the Tikka, accuracy wise I am going to have to go out on a limb and say they are on par given the right conditions and ammo, neither one being better then the other in that regard but...CZ wins it with the wood stock and yet loses at the same time given that the CZ stocks feel....youth sized...in my hands, just a little to undersized to feed like a solid fit for me, palm swell to small and length of pull just that much to short to feel mated and comfortable, this is truly where the Tikka wins, and yet they both lose the same number of points because both are better suited to a full sized adult type stock with beautiful European grained walnut.......get you some of that
What ammo are you using? I’m finding flyers with CCI Sv, probably 1 in 8-10. Talking with guys who shoot high end I’m hearing this is normal, CCI is “good practice ammo” for that reason. Eley match and sport shot great today, flyers were my fault at least, and they were rare
