New Glock 48 coming in January?

The 48 looks nice, but I will pass since I already have a G19 Canadian Edition. However, if I didnt own the 19 I would certainly purchase one of these. I just don't see a reason to own both. (unless you like to collect them of course)

At that price, I predict Glock is going to sell a lot of these in Canada.
I'm getting one for sure. Just deciding if I should get in on the pre-order from Calgary Shooting Centre with the black Cerakote slide.

What's wrong with a two tone look??

My primary concern about the bright slide is (extra) reflection that will negatively affect sight acquisition and sight picture. But bright all that is available, so I'm buying the (bright) G48 anyway.

Yeah, I hear you. I think I'm going to wait for the all-black version to come out at the same price point as the two-tone. I do want one of these for my wife though, and she'd probably actually dig the silver!!

Interesting.

Looks like there are two versions in the photo. The front one has a longer slide(?).
I'd consider one with a black slide and Armeriglo sights.....

I've been pretty excited about this gun, and it hasn't happened it a while. But for some reason I overlooked the part that it's the same size as a compact' Glock 19 (thinking it was a full size single stack). Which I never been a fan of; grip is too short got me where g17 and 19x feel perfect. I was gonna pre order but now I'm afraid I'll hate it but I'm hoping thinner grip somehow will make a difference :/

The word on the street from Glock is that there will be no black slide offering.

Interesting thinking and I’m on the same page as I have the 19 CDN edition. Would be great to get a single stack (thinner) full size 17 but I’m guessing that wouldn’t sell for CCW in the US. May get the 17 Gen 5 MOS with front serrations once it’s available.

Ive got my eyes set on a G26... these glock 48's almost seem like part of civil disarmament, specialty made 10 round single stack full size handguns for civilians, meh
