Here's my experience with RCBS.
Sunday mailman knocks on the door with my order of RCBS dies for the 38-55, went to check the dies and the expander only measured .374" if not mistaken.
So yesterday i called RCBS and was put on hold for about 10 minutes or so, got somebody on the phone again saying that they were experiencing a high level of calls and whenever one of their technicians become available they would contact me.
Today got a call from RCBS and i explained to the lady that i was going to be loading .379" cast bullets and the the expander that came with the dies were only .374" and wouldn't work.
She said that they had a 377.5" expander, she asked for my address and they were going to send me the expander, i asked how much the expander was and she said it was free of charge and the shipping was on them too.
Her words were ( we just want to make sure you have the right tools)

Just my experience but Dillon, LEE and Hornady offer the exact same sort of service. Dillon sent me nearly $300 worth of parts for free even though I broke them!

Last month I had a problem with the seating die using long 8x57 (.323)bullets, where shorter soft points had no issues. They sent me a new one free of charge to accommodate longer pointier bullets. Ten days later the part showed up in the mail.

Many years back, I bought a brand new Lubrisizer, which was hot stuff back in the day.
I ordered it from the states. Most Canadian dealers wouldn't know what it was. Long before the internet.
Well, the bloody thing was full of steel shavings. It took me about two hours and a few bleeding fingers to get it cleared out.
When I called RCBS, I got a woman whose answers sounded like Justin on a good day, not really satisfactory.

The last mould of theirs was for the 9 mm pistol. It should cast .355-.356, but came out just over .359. After powder coating it was just too big to size propetly.

Back in the seventies, I bought a Pro-Melt (I believe) that dripped incessantly fron the get-go and a set of Hornet dies that hadn't been reamed to the proper depth so it distorted the case horribly.

I must be like Joe Btsflxk when it comes to buying anything green.

RCBS products aren't kissed by God.

Yeah I tightened the lever on my pro 1000 too hard and it cracked the connector 'circle' part where you put the square steel rod into. The LEE girl said if I broke it again they'd charge me, but they sent the part for free. This was a far shot better than the Dillon people who said I had to deal with the retailer before they'd consider even talking about the myriad of issues with an XL650. Ended up losing 20% due to a restocking fee on that one, worst company I've dealt with other than United Airlines.

Interesting. I broke the grease nipple off of the bottom arm on my 650 and had replacements and spare parts to me in under two weeks with no cost. That was after another order for parts about six months before. Hit and miss I suppose

LOL Based on what experiences you had 40 years ago with them
Come on man. Might be time to try again :)
Plain and simple their customer service is one of the best out there in 2019 and has been since the 60's for me
Cheers

RCBS just sent me a priming arm at no cost for a press that was bought 40+ years ago. Air mailed even.

This was my first time ever needing support for one of their products and it was as painless as can be.

When a company treats customers that well it is hard to not be loyal.
