Opinion of the U.S. M9 Beretta Pistol

A little bit of mud and the Beretta wont fire??? I suggest you pull your head out of your a$$. The Glock has a passed many harsher tests than that. And Im not just talking about youtube.
Thanks for coming out though:D

Maybe not all youtube, but I'd bet you saw it all on the internet..... My comment stands. Buy both, do your own "toture testing" and then I'll care....

You may want to review the US Army selection testing before you get to far into this. All service pistols pass similar types of testing before being selected. They must work when wet, dry, muddy, dusty etc.
I am not suggesting that any one is better than another, only that just because you saw a Glock test, does not mean that real verifiable tests were not conducted on the Beretta.

Once again, who cares about US military testing, it was 24 years ago on prototypes, the Glock wasn't even included. The Beretta passed and was purchased because it was the best one at the time (and the cheapest).

I have to say when I go to the range, dragging my pistol through a load of mud before shooting it isn't the first thing that goes through my mind. In fact even when I was issued a pistol, dragging it through mud would have gotten my ass kicked by various NCOs so no, I think not somehow.

These "torture" tests always make me laugh. I have some sympathy with a drop test from a sensible height, say 2 or 3 metres, and testing it in hot and cold environments, and with a little bit of dirt on it.

But I tell you one thing for sure I won't work anymore if you drop me from a great height or drag me through a load of mud, so I really couldn't care less if my equipment does.
