Kel-Tec KS7

I've never heard of any real reliability issues with the KSG, so I'm assuming this will be good to go. The carry handle, however, is an acquired taste. For one, I like the Starship Troopers vibe...and because there's no drop in the comb, I like the rise on that bead. I'm all about blued steel and walnut, but this actually excites me. If they start rolling in at $600, they'll sell like hotcakes.

You also lose out when it comes to reliability, pump effort, bulk, price and ease of loading with a twin tube design.

If that weren't the case then you'd see other than a handful of niche manufacturers offering them.

One thing it seems like they really fixed was the pump effort. As they're no longer fighting against the two tubes, the resistance seems to be standard fair.

For $600 I would certainly consider one.

It would be nice if it came with both the rail and the carry handle out of the box but as long as they keep the price low it's not a big deal to buy it as an accessory.
I think they had the Movie industry in mind when they designed the rail.

What he has listed are not for semi auto only, it is the rules that determine whether a firearm is P, R, or NR. He just needs to be shown how the tactical fls through the cracks as NR which is exactly what you did by linking my thread!

While the KSG tactical is NR, it can not be exported from the USA at this time because it is a SBS. Perhaps when Itar is relaxed in Feb.

Pistol grip only shotguns with very short barrels are often R, but if it has a full stock then overall length does not matter.

Roger that. That was my thought but I articulated it improperly.
It seems as though a full stock, receiver and 8-10" bbl and you're pretty close to the 26" anyway.

Even a 6.5" barrel 870 is just over 26" with a 14" LOP stock.

So supposedly they pre-built thousands of the KS7 before release, so hopefully a ton of them are on their way up here. This is the bush defense gun I always dreamed of.
