Are these shells any good?

Excellent buckshot cartridges.
Try them in a nice light single shot...

I was 11 or 12 years old when I took my first shot with a firearm. A high-brass Imperial out of my buddy's father's Winchester Model 37 16 ga. single shot. Gave me a sore shoulder and a bruised cheekbone. Approximately 20 years later I shot that gun again. Still kicked like a mule.

Maybe 35 years ago, those were a favored load at Ontario's Luther Marsh. In the morning, a dozen hunters would line up along the road at the edge of the marsh, with expensive Italian Autoloaders loaded up with SSGs. The flock - used to being shot at - would rise straight up to about 600 feet - and then fly out over the line of hunters. 36 shots ring out in the blink of an eye. One of the birds dies of old age and plummets to a puddle on the road - and these guys would all run out and fist fight over the one bird.

Ahh, the good old days. Sometimes watching hunters was more fun than actually hunting.
