cuz its 40 bucks and you get s**tty canned bear and a cheaply made pack? I was looking at it the other day.
Holy crap, you can get bear in cans now?
Grizzly or black? That's a good price for grizzly, but too expensive for a blacky.

Davey.... can you post a list of things you're actually taking on a trip? Like all of them.....
thanks
No coffee? Jeezuz....
-Ammunition/ 20 rounds-15 big game loads and 5 small game loads.
Thank you Davey. It's a good list.
I'm planning to go alone, so I'll try to figure what exactly I can drop from that list. Spotting scope, is extra... but even alone, I'd keep the toothbrush and change underware
Not enough ammo IMHO.
I wont leave the house with less then 100 rounds.![]()
I would get rid of the bone saw, you can quater and debone an animal with a knife, unless you have other uses for the saw in mind. just my thoughts.
Jeezus, glad your packing it and not me.
CD,
i never thought of the duct tape around the water bottle. genius!!!!
on long trips i have gone as far as cutting the handle off the toothbrush.
usually I'll take my suppers out of their packaging and combine into larger ziplocs.
also a couple of garbage bags or pack covers. which ever you prefer. cause water weighs a lot!!!!
Not enough ammo IMHO.

Bring the reloading gear too, you never know....you might run out

This is scaring me..crazy davey and I are alot alike!!
I use the duct tape around water bottle, as well as bring some electric tape.
I love ziplocs
I bring a small folding Sandvick saw which doubles as bone saw and all arounder. It's light and works well...
I take more ammo than 15 rounds, becuase I miss alot. Most of it will stay in a "base" camp. Generally I have 12 in my ammo wallet on my belot and 3-4 in the rifle.
