Thank you Mr. Butcher, I actually got it from a forum member who had it brand new, unfired in his collection. The thing is a work of art… The slide fit to frame is so extremely tight and yet smooth as butter.

Very nice. I miss it already.....lol. One of the finest pistols I've ever owned for sure. But it needs to be shot now!

Glad you like it, and I was able to pass it on to such a passionate gun nut. TC

Well, You certainly found a passionate gun nut here!
She has yet to be fired, but her twin brother has had some use!
Thank you for such an easy transaction!
She's finally relaxed in her new surroundings, LOL

X5! That is one beautiful graduation gift! You know, if I could get past the P210 appearance, I would probably buy one but I just can’t stand the way it looks… and that stupid looking Trigger. I just don’t like anything about the way it looks.

It's really hard not to appreciate Swiss and German deisgn and manufacturing. It seems like with companies like FN, Sig Sauer, and Beretta coming over its just a matter of time until they all do

It's really hard not to appreciate Swiss and German design and manufacturing.....

I spent a few years working behind a lathe and mill in a machine shop. When you look how they machined that frame out of a solid billet of stainless steel, and look at the checkering on the front and back straps, and generally just consider the hand fitting and finish on the Sphinx.....it is insanely excellent. Really. The quality is second to none, and way way beyond my skill set I can assure you. I just have to take my hat off to those crazy little Swiss watch/gun makers. I've experienced a fair bit of seller's remorse on this one, the only consolation is that Keith is good people and I know he appreciates what he has. If I can land a giant Blue fin tuna next month when I go fishing out of Hobart (Tasmania), it will all be worth it....the Sphinx is paying for my charter! And if I do land a fatty, you better believe I'll be posting a pic on this thread. Not going to jinx it.....but please please God......
