Your illegal ban on 25 round mags will not stop me.

Thank you Dlask Arms.

Once the 25 round mags arrive I will do a 25 round mag dump with my TUF22 and post it online.

Until Bill Blair tables his next legislation. After that, the TUF22 magazine has six months, max.

(Enjoy it while it lasts.)

It's "not recommended as a stand alone charge" because it will not pass a court test.

Having said that, I don't have 20k to fund a court case...

It is disappointing when the RCMP decide to be criminals...

That crossed my mind the other day when considering one of these. Pretty maddening having to introduce this factor into a decision on whether or not to buy a what appears to be a really fun semi 22LR.

Its not much of a risk. The only people who have lost their mags so far are the people who were found committing other suspicious acts that resulted in a police encounter. There has been zero proactive enforcement of this so called mag ban, and zero charges have gone to trial. The main reason why the class action lawsuit hasn't moved forward is a stunning lack of plaintiffs.

What I find maddening is all the people who complain that the RCMP have no authority to make laws, and then act like their opinions actually are the law. It is because the RCMP have no authority to make law that I have taken to ignoring all of their legal musings completely.

I abide by the duly enacted requirements of the criminal code, and rulings of duly appointed judges. The fiats of faceless bureaucrats are paid no credence in my castle.

Spending a fortune on proprietary magazines and a proprietary designed rifle to get 25 rounds when there is so many other options is a weird flex but ok.

I agree.
Packing a gun around the gopher patch like it's on ###### is cumbersome.
Pack a couple tens and reload one while eye-bawl'in fur duh furrzs.

It isn't a proprietary rifle, it's a machine cut to the mag well, machinists and gunsmiths can do it to your existing rifle, as the folks who designed it have no issues with that, and you can still use the factory mag if you want. It isn't something I'm dying to get, but given that the cut is either there, if you're doing a build, or cheap if you've already got a 10/22 why not?

I hear ya and understand what you’re saying......but no one is pushing back! Dlask is dancing around the issue and set to profit from the rcmps bullshít ruling.....good for dlask I commend them. I enjoy my 1022 gear fully and I’m waiting for a certain retailer to offer another discount so I can get a few more drums and stick mags. Nice tuf22 cheers
I want to support a Canadian company that is pushing back against the illegal BS of the RCMP Criminal Operations Branch.

There is some reason why what happens at the RCMP in Ottawa is called HindQuarters!

They would be far better off if the investigation of criminals started in the PMO.

So am I breaking the law if I own a Ruger 77-22 bolt action and a Ruger American bolt action both in 22 R.F. chambering and have them tricked out with the 25 round magazine. I do not own a semi auto 10-22. As I read it possession of the magazine is punishable as it is a prohibited device. Yet it should not apply to manually cycled actions. Hmmmm.
