First event is booked. On saturday april 27th the first event of the season will be in springwater township, about 20 minutes from the 400 and horseshoe valley road. The cost is 30 per person.
The shooting will be mostly prone, some kneeling standing and sitting. Mostly just a challenging accuracy focused competition. Points will be accrued for the summer and prizes at the end. Going to do my best to do an event every month with the possibility of twice a month if locations allow.
Looking at a 8 am arrival with orientation and safety, shooting to comence after 9. Lunch around 12 (bring one) expecting shooting to wrap up around 3 some prizes (see how many participants we get) hint hint sponsors. Points to be added up and winners announced.

Looking to keep the costs as low as possible, unfortunately it costs money to start these events. Hoping future events will be less but we do meed to pay property owners and buy gongs. Not looking to make money just have a good time.
Dont think splitting up into divisions for the first round will work but the most honest doesnt mean you lose. Bring what you have and get started is my moto.

Yes i did see that, will be using some of their cof, but find it is set up for ranges and lacks the longer shots. Outlaw is a great series, just going to use something else as it still ises the props for positianal, not practical for now. If the area shows it will support than i will adjust

Going to see how far it is audible on the gong. The long range will be the last round, everyone can watch and call hits.thinking if we get 2 guys on scooes we can spot pretty accurately and call the hits. If we have enough people we can do 2 different long range scenarios simultaneously

Just got confirmation, gongs are en route, got the outlaw package from gong joe (thanks for the suggestion rickster66), cant wait
 
hey scuba, quick question. ive got a buddy that is thinking of joining as well. would you care if he shoots my rifle? hes licensed of course, just doesnt have a rimfire

One more question, are you going to have the two classes like the CRPS or just have fun as one big group? Doesn’t matter to me just wondering?
Also, as for the entry fee,how and when do u want the fee?

Just one big group, will ask for emt when the cof and the address of the location are given, if you dont feel comfortable it can be done at the event. The pre payment helps with the prizes. Will be small but possibly some gift cards depending on how many people actually sign up. If the number is what it is now, not sure what to do
 
Yeah, hoping for atleast 10, 20 is ideal, there is 5 to 6 from off this site that will probably be attending. Will send out a package over the next week for everyone.
