I own a S&W M&P 2.0.
This is my first handgun.
I noticed that if I align the top of the sights with the center of the target, I hit low. In order to hit the center of the target, I have to raise the front sight above the rear sight (tilting the gun up). See image below. I have been shooting at 9m and 12m (that's the available length).
My first instinct is to adjust the front sight, if that's even possible. But I'm sure there's a reason for my alignment issue. Is this a result of improper grip? Lowering/tilting my head? Something else?
What's a good way to figure out what's causing this?
