Well, just got my new Stevens 7mm-08 in the mail today. Great service from Wholesale (for once they actually had the gun in stock), ordered on Friday, order was processed on Monday, arrived here today (Thursday).

Now just to clean up the stock, paint it, get a scope mounted and see how it shoots. Can't Wait! :D

Did they hack you PST?

Nope.

Gun $329.95
Shipping $23.79
Tax (6% GST) $21.23

Total $374.97

Well, I now know where and how to order....oh....I don't know.....EVERYTHING...:rockOn: as most times the shipping cost is less than what the GST would be if buying locally.

I was hoping for a pic as well :D

So I sanded the stock down, painted it, lightened the trigger. Now I just need to scope it and it is off to the range.

Here is the new paint job

Nice job on the camo! I just picked up a Stevens in 308 and my wife bought a Stevens in 243. I plan on putting 3-9x40 Bushnell Elites on them. I think I will go with Burris rings and bases to mount the scopes.

Cheers
Jay
P.S. $347.77 plus tax, with a free hard case for each rifle and a nice lock blade knife thrown in to boot. That was at Dante in Montreal, the only place I could find the 308 and 243 at the same place.

Nice paint job !

Care to share some details on the paint type, technique

I used the krylon camo paints. After sanding it down I put on three coats of dark green, then used ceader branches for the stencils and put on one coat of tan, rearranged the branches and put on one coat of brown, and then put on three coats of clear overtop. My first paint job on a stock. It was really easy.
