Yes, it didn’t take long for the finish to be rubbed off
Oh ya mine did the very first time I racked it when I got home and got a shiny streak for it
I've shot mine at 100 yards but only at gongs and my results won't mean much since I only shoot handloads.
Next time I'm out I'll try to remember to grab some factory stuff off the shelf to try as well and I'll print some groups.
Longer barrel doesn't make it more accurate. Longer barrel doesn't make any gun more accurate.
The barrel quality seems decent though, it groups similar to my Vector and 9mm AR.

Anyone else find the issue where you cannot lower the sight enough to get a zero.? Trying to get a 25/75 ish zero point from guessing some of the numbers on strelock but I cannot drop my front sight low enough to do it neither can my red dot. I remember having the same issue trying to do this on my 12ga to shoot slugs just too short range and velocity. I think my only other option is to try to raise up the rear right ?

Ya i bottomed out my front sight post it still hitting 8 to 10 inches low so I put on a red dot to try that and same deal it's bottomed out on its adjustment and still hitting 8 inches low. I have some UTG rail riser mounts that I can try which will add some hight to the back but I wish there was a better way cause they are not cool to look at lol I'll try them and see what that does. Just wondering how other people are doing theirs since rifle sights obviously don't have enough adjustment to zero in for 9mm ballistics
Ravage, it sort of sounds like a warranty issue if you can't dial in the elevation at 25 yards with irons or a red dot.

Nothing to warranty it doesn't come with sights and the sights I have tried are for rifles so their adjustments are for rifle ballistics they just don't adjust enough to take into account for 9mm ballistics. If you can't get lower in the front then you can try to go higher in the back to get more adjustment that way if I understand what i'm reading so I have put on a rail riser I had in one of my parts boxes and ill give this a try I think this might work to get more adjustments

Warranty as in the barrel is not properly in line with the receiver's rail ...... 9mm ballistics is more of an issue beyond 150 yards.

Any typical AR sights or optics should get you on target at 25 yards.

It should have nothing to do with ballistics, either your sights are junk or there's something wrong with the rifle.
Are you mounting your red dot on the receiver or the forend?
If you're trying to use the irons on that riser there's no way it will work but your dot sight should still work even though it's useless to use a riser like that.
Get rid of the riser, remove the handguard, grab the muzzle and give it a wiggle, there should be no wiggling in the receiver socket. If your barrel nut is tight and there's no wiggle you have a warranty issue.
