I have a savage mk2 with a heavy barrel and the fake wood stock. It is a bolt action. Here lies the problem. When i take this rifle out shooting, the groups are right tight. It issue is they are 1-2 inches off off where I am aiming. After about 50 rounds the group has moved back to being right center on the target with nice tight groups for this rifle. NO scope adjustments are made. I am one of those that does not clean a gun until its needed. I am shooting CCI standard velocity. The scope is a vortex crossfie 2 6-18x. Does this sound normal or is something wrong? I treat this gun no different with my cleaning scheduale than any other .22 I have owned. No have had an issue like this.
