rifles in 6.5 Creedmore?

it's just popular. Whenever there are popular firearms/cartridges they will be well represented on the EE. There are also plenty of Glocks, .308's, AR15's, Remington 870's and 22LR firearms on the EE.

The difference is that they are not triggers. I’ve never seen a certain male profile threatened by such an inanimate thing.

The 6.5 Creedmoor is the BEST cartridge since the .375 Ruger... Period.

All hail the New Prince.

The creedmore is definitely fizzling out, as cheap Chinese knock-offs normally do, but the Creedmoor is alive and kicking, getting 6.5X55 performance in a short action case.

My only issue is the longest range in my area is a military range that lets a civvie club shoot regularly. But the military range only permits CAF military calibres. So I can shoot .22LR, .223 / 5.56mm, .303 British, .308 Win / 7.62x51, and .338 Lapua because the range has never been templated for non-standard cartridges. Ignoring the ridiculousness of approving .338 Lapua but not allowing 6.5 Creedmoor, the sad fact is I can't shoot it at that range. So to do long range work I'd have to drive a long, long ways away.

But with a .308 I can shoot 20 minutes away from my house at the military range. So I was thinking of selling my 6.5CM just for that reason.

1 in 5 new rifles sold are probably 6.5CM's these days, you'll see more just for sheer quantity of new rifles moving across the gun counter and changing hands.

You'll see lots of 99 savages and win 94 levers too, it doesn't mean that people are getting rid of them or they are obsolete, just lots of them around.

This thread is a real troll magnet though, lots of haters bringing the hate. Water must be high under the bridges right now, they're all at the surface.

... lots of haters bringing the hate...

And... "lovers bringing the love."

Nothing makes haters hate more than lovers loving....

Probably some boring folk between the two... but they don't make for good theater.

It's interesting that as ammo and rifle manufacturers continue to grow their 6.5 CM offerings, and tout the incredible sales numbers we simultaneously have people declaring it a declining fad. I suppose when all you have is a hammer...

I don't think it's declining, but do think that there are more than a few that bought one on the initial internet fab rush and then decide they are going to stick with what they already had and not switch over to the 6.5CM. Off to the EE after that with a list of new or nearly new CMs.
