It is very similar to the 6.5x55, which has killed just about everything on the planet for over 120 years.
Nothing wrong with the caliber or cartridge on game.

Sure, they make long action mags, hell I could do it with a 7mm or 300mag if I was into that stuff. Thankfully PRS has zero appeal to me though.

Jeeze, I had no idea you were a professional PRS shooter? Who are your sponsors? What is your current ranking? Did you compete in the PRS finale?
Never knew we had a pro amongst all us recreational shooters.

I think many people keep the stories to themselves as not to make people jealous. I was not there for the shot, but I did pick up the brass 650m from a cow moose that was shot at 650m and the black bear that was shot at 700m. Not my shots, not my story to boast about. But since the gauntlet has been dropped I am sure many of the fine outdoors peoples on here will chime in and satiate your desire to feel overwhelmed by the capabilities of the 6.5mm creedmoore round.
