Ballistic Plates Incoming

Excellent news! What is the deal with pick ups? Certain day? Certain time of day? I am guessing you will be email those of us who picked that when and how to get our order.

Peter

For pickups we will send out emails and we will schedule with you a time to come into the office to pick up your order. We will be sending out those emails today.

Everyone’s order will be shipped out by tomorrow, excluding those who have yet to pay their balances. We will update our store with what inventory we have left by Sunday.

In about one moths time we will be receiving inventory of an order of discreet bulletproof backpacks, the first in the world that are rifle rated, from the US. We want to know if any of you would be interested we will be able to post photos in a couple weeks when we receive our first units. We will be selling two options one of steel which will retail for 139.99 CAD, and a polymer option which will retail for 249.99 CAD. These are entirely non-descript, non-tactical looking bags that would fit in in any setting. In addition they are almost entirely waterproof. Let us know how interested you guys would be in these.

Thank you guys we really do appreciate it. We told you we would do it and we firmly believe in keeping our word, though it was hard explaining to the missus why I showed up after work covered in glitter. All we can ask, is that if you guys are satisfied with what you ordered and our customer service, recommend us to your buddies. Also let us know if there is anything we can do to improve and serve you better.

Hey guys,

I got my level III+ steel set today. There’s a sticker on the back “NIJIII”. What’s up with that?

Sorry about that, the manufacturer is not particularly stunning with the labels. We are working on fixing that with the next order. We measured and weighed the steel plates and they are the exact same as the III+ we tested.

As far as I am aware NIJIII+ and NIJIII++ are not official designations. NIJ officially only tests for NIJIII and NIJIV. The III+ designation was introduced to act as an intermediary between the two that wasn't official and it is used by manufacturer's to indicate that it should stop some threats that the standard NIJ III does not. I think it was specifically in reference to some newer and higher velocity loads of 5.56. The plate was only officially tested for NIJ III by NIJ as III+ doesn't exist even though the manufacturer suggests it exceeds standard NIJIII spec.
