I traced down a gently used Sparc2 on the EE. The Sparc arrives today via Her Majesty's mail. I'll mount it today and see how she shoots.

Has anyone ever seen a non threaded muzzle. Receantly purchased a restricted pc 9 that apeared to be threaded with protector. After trying to remove with pipe wrench i finally gave up and put into my lathe. After some turning it was obvious there were no threads. Finally machined to size and threaded barrel. Manual states that the barrel is threaded and couldn't find anything online.

no, and unless they where giving it away why on earth would you buy a restricted version?

there are 3 main 'restricted' versions listed on Ruger.com
19100 is the normal with threaded fluted barrel and 17 round magazine.
19101 is the non threaded barrel with 10 round magazine (i believe they call that the California or Massachusetts version?)
19102 is threaded with a 10 round magazine.
19103 is the Canadian version with the longer threaded fluted barrel and 10 round magazine.

so looks like you got the 19101

In case anyone's wondering
For lefties the Ruger 10/22 left hand safety's work great.
Pretty hard to find them in Canada so I ordered one from numrich. Ended up being quite reasonable about 50$ shipped to Canada.
With the bolt handle on the right side and the magazine release on the right side and a left handed safety this rifle is perfectly set up for lefties.
Unfortunately only newer Glock magazines with the ambi mag cutouts work with the magazine release on the right side. Which means most of my Glock 17 and 19 gen 3 mags don't work. I ordered a bunch of Magpul mags and they have worked flawlessly.
Actually I haven't had a single malfunction with this rifle. Only about 300rds through it so far.

I'm going to have to get a progressive press to keep up with the PC carbine and my 3 9mm Glocks. Setting one up will be my winter project!

how did i not know there was a left handed safety for the 10/22?!?!??!

Questar brought my first restricted gun to Canada with no issues. I have better things to do then to look for negative posts, hey i just have to come here.
The question was where could they be bought.

Al Flaherty's has the free float M-LOK model up on their site under pending deliveries. It is marked as temporarily sold out but the listing says "Expected at the end of the third or beginning of the fourth quarter of 2019".

Hopefully we see them in the next couple of weeks based on that estimate, have had my eye on this model since it was announced.

So is anyone having stove pipe issues with these or is it just me?

I find this gun is so fouled up after 100 rounds it has to come apart and get scrubbed out to function properly again. The bolt and chamber are just coated in a layer of hard carbon. I know blow backs are dirty but even the cases are coming out black on 2/3 the outside of the case after 100 rounds.

The brass is so chewed up ejecting out of this thing when its fouled its about 50% scrap.

Same results with pmc and umc ammo, im running glock factory mags

Nope not here. I use lead bullets in mine with no issues at all. Cases come out black but that is just from the blow back action. Cases are dirty, as one would expect but fine for reloading. I only have about 300 rounds on mine at this point. Mine has to fight for range time with my two other carbines.
