It really depends, for PRS/NRL style shooting or burning targets at the range 6.5 Creedmoor, if doing ELR style shooting (2000+ yards) or hunting at a distance the 6.5 PRC will be better. It's not worth the extra powder and recoil unless you really need it. 6.5 Creedmoor vs. 308 is really the same in terms of factory ammo availability. The 6.5 Creedmoor VS 308 Win is really moot these days. I was a 308 guy, and I still shoot it, but 6.5 Creedmoor does everything a bit better and is super easy to tune as well. The only valid argument (although it's grasping at straws) is barrel life. That's it, even then I say it like this, if you are worried about it, chances are you won't get close to it.
