Serious answer to the OPs question.... I don't think I have an AR worth less than 2k on the open market, not including optics. Minimum 3K including optics. Not that any are for sale unless I choose to sell them.

But what about those guys who bought lower end, and upgraded the parts? Or the guys who built rifles form cheap lowers? Or built them form high end parts? I didn't keep any receipts.
