While i do collect odd ball firearms my main reason for owning them is to hunt, most if not close to all of our food is wild meat or grown in a garden.

Unless those potential allies speak up in the same manner that many US State police who went on record stating that they won't enforce it then they are not our allies.

I agree that we don't have the God given or any given right to own guns the way they do in the US. But you do realize that your kind of thinking is what allows the government to overreach..it's "just" a hobby..

I suppose you "just" need a single shot bolt gun to work on your target hitting skills?

If more people accepted that firearms are tools and have many different uses, it would become more normalized and our numbers would grow. But for now, keep playing with your toys and be ready to hand them over when Big Brother says it's time!

It may sound farfetched to some, but I would rather be prepared than naive...

In regards to the first statement; the Liberals will drive this country into the ground. Equivalent to giving a credit card to a moron who has no means of repaying the debt (No we don’t want our own Alberta oil, would rather purchase it from Saudi Arabia). Once everything goes to ####, there is nowhere to go but up. The way I look at the last 4 years is by looking at what’s changed. Business (at least around me) like HMV, Home Outfitters, Red Robins etc. (Like well established names) have closed up shop. I am not sure where the employment numbers are coming from but everywhere I look things are being shut down. And you just think, how much longer can we endure...and then petitions like the ones I previously liked start popping up. I suspect this trend will climb over the next 4 years. But then again, no one has a crystal ball.
