Would you buy a shotgun from someone who spells gauge guage?

I keep seeing EE posts where people are listing their shotgun as such and such a "guage". I am always wary of this - as I think that if someone doesn't know how to spell gauge, they may be some kind of gun scammers. Is that just me?

No I wouldn't say that at all. What makes you think good spelling equates with a person's honesty or anything like that?

Now if it was something from a Nigerian general telling me about a confedental onec in a lifetimed ofer, that would be different.

If a person can't even look on the shotgun for the spelling of Ithaca, or mention it is a 12 gauge, how could they possibly evaluate condition.
Clueless is a bad sign.

I can’t post pics from my pad. I’ve tried. If that means we can’t make a deal, o well. There are others that politely ask for an email and I find great to deal with. I’ve bought and sold many this way so it does work.

Well , simply put , the better your EE ad the better your odds of moving said item , I know posting an ad is exhausting but a little effort goes a long way!

It’s only the seller that suffers when a poor write up is used.
