All gave some - some gave all.

Remember them when JT's government denies vets their due benefits.

Remember them when JT's government comes for your guns.

Oh yes it does!

Armed people don't get into box cars willingly.

Remember them .....

Nov 11th is about remember those who sacrificed, so you at Home could have freedom. Not Justin Trudeau taking our guns. Justin Trudeau HAS nothing to do with this, Because I highly doubt hes doing to send citizens into box cars. So again, leave politics out of it.

You know nothing of history and I doubt that you ever wore the uniform. It's ALL about politics!

"All political power comes from the barrel of a gun." Chairman Mao Tse Tung

Just think on this .... thousands of war souvenir pistols were brought back by vets after defeating the Nazis. Most Canadians cannot own such guns today unless they were "grandfathered".

So, souvenir guns from the defeat of a totalitarian regime have been prohibited by another totalitarian regime. Why? What good purpose has been served? "Public safety"? "Peace, order and good government"?

Why does a government want to disarm a peaceful citizenry?

I had the privilege of serving with and knowing several vets who were there. None of them thought they would see the day when they would need the government's permission to own the guns they grew up with and be regarded as criminals because they owned war souvenirs.

Next on the list are the "black guns" because they look evil, not because they have been used in any heinous crimes in Canada. What's next? All semi-autos and pumps? "Sniper" rifles? ALL handguns?

Look at the UK, Australia and now New Zealand. When a government tells you that you don't "need" guns - then you really need them! A government that does not trust it's people to be armed is not a government worthy of trust by the people.

Foreign Affairs Minister Lloyd Axworthy, Senator Sharon Carstairs and Justice Minister Alan Rock (all Liberals) publicly declared that "gun control" had nothing to do with public safety and EVERYTHING to do with rendering Canada a gun-less society within a few generations.

It has EVERYTHING to do with politics. JT laying a wreath commemorating our war dead is a travesty, national embarrassment.

Well written Sharps’74.
It starts with politics and in the end it always come to boots on the ground who decide the fate of a country.

War is all about politics and religion.

Yes. When the rich wage war it's the poor who dies.

But you gotta be deranged if you think Trudeau stripping our guns, so he can throw us in box cars. Is what remembrance day is about. Then again some really put the nutz in Canadian Gun Nutz.

And Sharps if he didnt lay a poppy, people would #####. Damned if he does damned if he doesn't.

Yes I served. 3rd generation of military family. And yes I know history, was my favorite subject. I just dont read into as much as some.

Yes. For twelve years as a Cold War Warrior like many others on this forum. You won't remember, but things got pretty tense on a few occasions like the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Czech Crisis.

We were also up to our eyeballs in UN "Peacekeeping Missions" in Egypt, Cypress and the Congo.

Quote where I said JT was about to herd Canadians into box cars. IIRC, I said that armed people don't willingly get into box cars. You'll note that the Jews and other untermenschen in the photos were not the ones with the guns

I think you missed the parts in history that warn about disarming citizens for some alleged benefit to society.

How about answering the questions I posed in my post ..... ?

This will require some critical thinking on your part.

Where is my apology? Because you said "I doubt I wore the uniform" and I did proudly for 12 years. I'd still be in if I wasn't medically release. Man up and apologize, and Ill answer your questions.
