Camp Dundurn, SK was a bit of a difference as they built stone huts there during the depression as a works relief project. I pass the Vernon Cadet Camp fairly often and see the wartime huts still in use. They've been renovated to the point where its like building a palace inside a $hithouse.

When ever I see a group picture of soldiers, I wonder "How many survived the war?"

This picture is heart warming because I see that most of them did.

The building to the left in frame three is about 20 stories. Holy crap the blast hitting that smaller building the lower right corner of the frame must have been devastating. You can see the dust bouncing off the facade.
