return of the AIA enfields possible?

Looks like the Vietnamese are making some enfields on whatever tooling they still have from AIA. Wonder if we can get them here? (some other interesting stuff there too)

OK how about a 500 AR barrel.

The savage barrel are a pre-fit and use the barrel nut. An AR barrel won't fit. But there is no reason not to get a pre-fit barrel in .500 AutoMax and perhaps some mag tweaking.

I think these would sell well again in Canada, as the AIA seemed to if I'm not mistaken. Hopefully we'll see them here in the near future.

There was a carbine version before. No doubt this model could be made again.
Nothing is going to happen without an importer/distributor entering into an arrangement with VDI.

7.62x39 model with a 10rd magazine and the ability to take SKS stripper clips would be tons of fun. Cheap mad minute practice

Problem for people was, why were they so expensive if made in Vietnam?

Problem was, they used AK mags, which are limited to 5 rounds.

Plus, the lacquered cheapo ammo glued itself into the chamber.

As far as I remember not to many were brought to Canada and they took awhile to sale anyway. May be market changed
