It Takes A Lot of Work to Fly This Badly

In the 70's still in High School (Welland Ont.), Dad and I took a trip to Cole Palen's Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome Rhinebeck, NY.
Highly recommended. If you like ww1 aeroplanes !
Anyway they had a similar act where a drunk steals a Cub...won't get fair...only has a little bit a gas...does a whole bunch of stunts...shut off the engine...does some more stunts and lands dead stick in front of the crowd. Takes his bows to all the applause. Reaches with one hand, grabs the prop, starts it back up, gets in, cranks er up, lifts the tail, does a 180° turn and takes off again, tail not touching the ground!!!
