Brain trust,
While in Europe this summer, I used some ammunition that I particularly liked, and I'm wondering how I can get my hands on some in Canada where they do not have formal distribution.
I'm aware that I can import up to 5000 rounds when physically crossing the border into Canada.
Leaving aside the cost of freight for a moment - which of course might render the whole enterprise impractical, my question is: assuming the manufacturer can export to Canada, can I import ammo into Canada via freight/mail? Or conversely, would I need an authorized dealer/distributor to import it for me?
Thanks in advance for any insights...
