700 loaded casings are full of crap !! how to clean???

So I gave him the contaminated rds. And he replaced them with other reloads.
I checked them as best I could. All were seated properly, Though strongly crimped. They is no slippery polish on them.
So I take them home. Today I pull a random .38 special from the batch. Open it up. 15.5 GRAINS !!!!!! a TRIPLE load. WTF? (of what appears to be CFE Pistol)
I hate to think of the outcome if I had not checked and fired this from a .38 spl revolver.

This guy is going to hurt someone !!!!!!!
I don't care if it's only 1 badly over charged rd in 700. it only takes one like this to cause massive injury.
I was going to take a friends young daughter to the range today. The thought of what could have happened to her today had I not checked that 1 rd. *chills*

He calls himself Custom Hand loader. Out of Sherwood park, AB. http://www.customhandloader.ca
I would suggest not using him. (unless you want to make a youtube video of a firearm exploding)
(these will all be broken down for components only)

That guy seems to be a complete idgit. Sells ammos to a guy without checking PAL then post about it on facebook. Is it the guy that OP bought from?

He seems to have (had?) a business firearm licence, but not a commercial reloading licence.

Seems like the same guy.

Wonder if he got his license pulled over this and is trying to blame it on something else.

Not impossible, but that would make him one heck of an idgit. Selling reloads without a commercial licence isn't criminal, selling without verifying PAL can be.

The guy obviously doesn't have a commercial reloading licence. He posted on his FB that he just got some 325WSM cases and is now selling 2 loads. Obviously he didn't send the samples to NRCan for 2 loads and get them approved in a few minutes. Heck, I doubt anyone who actually goes through the whole process of getting a load approved can have enough sale volume to make money with a rare cartridge like 325WSM.

Quote from the home page of the guys website "We are suspending all sales until further notice. Due to unforeseen circumstances we are prudentl"

Guess NRCan had a chat with him.

Looks like "unforseen circumstances" made him prudent lol.

Well the change in his status could very well save someone their fingers, eyes, gun etc...

I've been told that someone in Edmonton bought some ammo "From that guy online" to use in the new Colt Python he purchased.
He was shooting it at phoenix range in Edmonton about 3 weeks ago. On his 8th shot ever. Brand new pistol purchased that day. It went off like a BOMB !!
It destroyed the armored glass, the electronic control panel, the over head pulley system for the target and a few other things. Lucky the guy shooting wasn't injured.
But now he's on the hook for a new python 2.0 and $8000min damage to the pistol bay.

I'll try to get the pics. Maybe they'll release the video.

Edit:
I was off on the damage estimate. This is now posted in every bay after this explosion. (damage is around $13,000 +$1800 for the pistol)

Wow. He needs to look into legal action on that clown.

WOW is all I can say. As a reloader and shooter, I've been asked about reloading and costs. I use a Dillon 550 and know that MY ammo is good, and some have asked to purchase some. Always the same answer , NO I can't afford the insurance for that.

I hate Murphy. One bad reloader and it's that guy selling crap online. Most of us could easily manufacture ammos that rival new production quality, yet we keep our stuff for ourselves. This guy can't reload pistol ammos worth a damn and he goes out an sell his ticking timebombs. Can't that Bubba keep his manure of ammunitions for himself and blow his own hands ffs?

Do not use ammo reloaded by others (except by properly cetified re-loaders).

This is especially important since the legalization of marijuana.

He was supposedly certified. I have a hard time imaging how a kB could do as much damage as described even if the cartridge were packed full of fast pistol powder. No doubt it was quite the event, I have had a few myself throughout the years.
