It does not as you well know make me hypocritical since electric cars are sold at a massive premium and are not practicle(nor is lead free for the most part at the moment). I do my part I use florescent lights( that dump extra mercury and lead into the landfill and need how much more energy to produce?, the only advantage is the extra bucks in your wallet at hydro bill time, but if you live in Canada, those will show up on your heating bill anyways during winter), I dont waste power and I dont drive a powerstroke f350 with duellies to work everyday. Im not suggesting a total ban. There is no reason to use non-toxic at the range (nor is there any reason to use them in the field). But while hunting why not use non-toxic? (what is toxic about a small hunk of metallic lead.. define toxic) Are you going to tell me the TSX is not up to the task?(it may be, but its nice to have some other options in terms of ammo when your hunting in varied situations ) And if your argument is that there is not enough selection that will come as marketers and manufacturers see that as the way things are going theyll be dozens of products. But you have to start somewhere.(start by thinking about the amount of lead left behind by the average hunter in a year... then think of the amount of lead solder in your fluorescent lightbulb thats being turfed cause the ballast died or the hydrocarbon emissions it'll take you to drive the dead bulb to the hazardous waste depot)
