One of the earlier posts somewhere said that the israeli carbines had the rear sight adjustment knob ground down and welded at 100m. Can anyone who bought/looked at these confirm or deny this?
What's the condition of the Epps Carbines? A restoration seems attractive if all you need to do is locate a replacement stock and handguard and replace the welded rear sights.
You never know what's going to turn up. A few yrs ago I was visiting the Tula ruins in central Mexico. The security guards were armed with Carbines with NO rear sights.![]()

yes its do able BUT you bubba and wreck an original ww2 rifle your better off finding a plainfield and doing the rebarrel
