The GSG 16 modification thread

Hey guys, saw some posts on this forum about finding a small screw on their table after firing their GSG-16. Found one on the table last time out. Can't find the posts again with the search.. can anyone point out where this may have come from?

The pic of the screw you posted sure looks like a screw for a set of scope rings. It doesn't look like the screws I took off my GSG16 hand guards or top rail when I installed my GSG522 kit...

What do others think? I don't recognize it from the GSG16. Could it have been left on the bench by someone else op?

Installed the trigger kit, and GSG5 kit from IRG today.

Also got to shoot it with the stick magazines. Used a mixture of lead, copper, round nos, HP, all fed and shot perfectly!!

Great little shooter, love it. Waiting for my fixed butt stock, tri handguard, and short barrel. :)

 
Wolverine had them, but I think they're sold out now.

I put an SRC airsoft solid fixed stock on mine, and re-used the GSG rear pin to affix it to the receiver. Worked fine. The stock took a bit of fitting though.

I was searching "GSG" instead of "HK" LOL

Also, I've ordered parts from these guys, and they're quick to ship. Took just 5 business days from China. They have similar, cheaper pins which may also fit. I haven't tried them, so these are at your own risk.

The GSG kit includes a more realistic looking HK grip as the existing housing has finger grooves. The trigger reference I made was pertaining to installing the Blue Line kit to help remove trigger creep.
