Sorry Wes had to post this one!

Sinful things are done by people with wire wheels...

I do have to wonder what that actually sold for, as it wasn't listed for long. I tried to offer $100, but never heard back. :nest:

$299 isn't a bad price for a sporter jungle carbine, and with a little bit of work you can probably get this thing looking presentable.

It let's me add it to my cart. Does that mean it's still available?

I was talking about a different No.5. The one was previously talked about in this subforum, it was what could have been a really nice No.5, except for the fact that the owner decided to take a wire wheel to the immaculate Suncorite finish so that the markings were more visible for photographs. I'll see if I can find it.

Oh god I didn't see that! Definitely not interested now...

That's normal for genuine No.5s. Lightening cuts/milling into the knoxform. The receiver has a few lightening cuts made to it, and the bolt knob is hollow.

Interesting. Didn't know that milling into the knoxform was normal.

At the Moose Jaw show a few years back, I bought what I thought for sure was the ugliest bubba'd Lee Enfield. IIRC, it was a No. 4. Camo paint, shortened barrel, just plain pitifully ugly. Lasted an hour. A fellow snapped it up, and was happier than a pig in...

The JC in the OP is bad.
