I've been waiting a long time for this but I have to say I'm underwhelmed. I love my backpacker stock on my 10/22 but was hoping for something that incorporated mounting optics to the barrel side of the PCC takedown.
To quote the immortal words of Wayne and Garth, Shwing!
awesome, we'll be talking to them about this at SHOT![]()

My Ruger PCC still isn't reliable. I've tried loading 9mm with the Campro 147gr and 121gr (hollow base). I've tried mild loads that don't even hit 125PF, and hot loads that are up in the 151PF range, and a few in between. Usually the problem is a stove pipe, with the spent casing ending up caught in ejection port and squished by the bolt as it is feeding a new round.
Anyone have a magic fix that makes it all better?

I'm not sure why they released the backpacker mount for the 10/22 with the stock, but not this one? I would like an RDS mount that keeps the irons and cowitnesses, personally.
If your the original buyer why not send it to Snapper Heads and then wait 6 months or so..... hopefully less.
It would be nice if you could do a quick exchange but that's not an option in Canada unless you bought it from an outstanding retailer who is willing to deal with Snapper Heads on your behalf.....
Looking at the extractor makes sense.
Anyone having issues with their bolt catch?
I noticed lately that when I'm taking down or putting the rifle back together, the bolt will suddenly release and fly forward.
