Oh this is super tempting, I'm having a tough time coming up with a reason not to get one! The FX-9 always seemed great, but not sure I can resist the Ruger for $640...

Hard to beat for that price and the cheap ammo

I ordered some additional stuff from rangeview with my carbine and they loaded my order with swag and even a magpul shirt
 
Been sitting on the fence as I couldn't justify the $800.00+ CND price everywhere else.

Thanks for the link - just placed order. Anyone know if someone has built an adapter for S&W M&P magazines (yes I know I can mod them by adding a slot (aka Ruger Magazine interface)) yet?
Figure buying an adapter is cheaper than modifying 8-10 perfectly good magazines.
Seems like this might be a 3D printer project - probably more complicated than this as I have not seen an adapter up close or in person - comments?

Imar just go Glock mags. They are relatively cheap and they work. I would have preferred a S&W adapter to mate with my pistol but it is what it is.

I hear you. But I don't own a glock in 9mm while I have 10 S&W mags.
An adapter will be cheaper than mags if I show some patients.
 
Considering Ruger went to all the trouble of making the gun work with interchangeable mag wells, they sure are lazy at putting out alternative mag wells.

Ruger has never sold stocks, so you’re pretty much going to buy aftermarket. Midwest has a chassis system and the free float friend but together they would $500+ cdn.

I do have the mi forend and love it.

In the Upriser Video, does anyone know what that optic is they have mounted over top of the rear iron sight? Looking for a red dot/holo type sight which still allows use of irons.

Tandemkross makes their own plate that replaces the whole rear sight assembly, deleting the rear sight. The optic looks like a holosun 507
 
Bkmiller556 makes a wicked site rail that maintains the rear sight. Check out his Instagram stuff, tried getting him to ship to Canada a while ago but maybe with the new rules he might change his mind.
