This made my pants slightly tighter

I've been waiting a long time for this but I have to say I'm underwhelmed. I love my backpacker stock on my 10/22 but was hoping for something that incorporated mounting optics to the barrel side of the PCC takedown.

Not necessary. Maybe a dovetail mount rail would work for you?

I'm not sure why they released the backpacker mount for the 10/22 with the stock, but not this one? I would like an RDS mount that keeps the irons and cowitnesses, personally.

Looks great, Fall is a long way off for those that want red dot barrel mounts included..... mean while there are plenty of options already out there.

My Ruger PCC still isn't reliable. I've tried loading 9mm with the Campro 147gr and 121gr (hollow base). I've tried mild loads that don't even hit 125PF, and hot loads that are up in the 151PF range, and a few in between. Usually the problem is a stove pipe, with the spent casing ending up caught in ejection port and squished by the bolt as it is feeding a new round.

Anyone have a magic fix that makes it all better?

Factory stuff has been fine out of the gate for me so far. I see people having issues with the extractor when I google.

Re: magpul offering, ugh, I want it although I don't know how often the rifle will actually be in the take down position

Apparently MCARBO makes some upgrade action spring + bolt pins and extractor claws that makes the carbine way more reliable.
I can't find any dealer that have these products in stock in canada sadly.

If your the original buyer why not send it to Snapper Heads and then wait 6 months or so..... hopefully less.
It would be nice if you could do a quick exchange but that's not an option in Canada unless you bought it from an outstanding retailer who is willing to deal with Snapper Heads on your behalf.....

Looking at the extractor makes sense.

For the same reason I can't bring myself to send in my RPR22lr to them. It has even more problems feeding, extracting, and ejecting, and holding the magazine in a reasonable position. I just don't think they can actually fix it. I'd be surprised if they do more than put in a new extractor in either gun.

Anyone having issues with their bolt catch?

I noticed lately that when I'm taking down or putting the rifle back together, the bolt will suddenly release and fly forward.

Just dragged this up way back from page 26 as it's just started happening to me. Did anyone come up with a fix yet?

Mcarbo like others have said sell improved internals like a 15% stronger recoil spring, a better ejector and a better mag stop(This seems to be a major part that fails and causes stove pipes). Check to see if yours is bent, it may be causing them and if so you can just swap that part out for the other one that comes with the glock adapter. Edit: Don't slam your mags in it bends that mag stop.
