From reading through all the comments here and everywhere else it was posted, along with the direct emails I got I am looking at either the Boker T-Rex Tooth, or perhaps the Kershaw Link - Tanto.
As it stands right now I am leaning at the Boker!

What ever you get, please don't get one with serrations on it. Nothing completes a Walmarty knife more than a serrated blade.

I've got that one coming in the mail as we speak. I loved my benchmade 940 but after one of the kids dropped it overboard I couldn't do it again. Maybe once they are older, but for now I wanted something that won't feel like a kick in the gut if it goes missing.

Cool. They take a razor edge. I prefer the Inox blade over the carbon steel ones because it resists staining.
EDC help
I'm a big fan of the SOG Trident Elite. I've carried that for a long time now and the folks at SOG are super helpful and efficient with fixing or replacing parts as it wears, like screws and clips etc. Comes with a pretty grippy handle, cord cutter, glass punch, and a spring assist for opening so it deploys very quickly. I can't believe all you knife aficionado's have not mentioned the CRKT Provoke. I own a ton of knives and the Provoke is by far the coolest knife I have. Who doesn't like a folding Karambit.
