I have a Tornjak as well. Beautiful dog, loves everyone on the farm. Anything outside the fence, stays outside the fence.

If you don't mind me asking, where do you live and where did you source your Tornjak? The breeder(s) around Calgary have done significant harm to the Tornjak breed with some borderline unethical breeding. One of our 9 yr old pups came from a litter of 9 and after 2 years, only 4 were still alive. We were fortunate, but that was after 5K vet bills twice in his first 2 years.
That said, I'd not hesitate to get another and we have a friend in the US that has been breeding them responsibly for the last 4 or 5 years.
