Just received my first order from Marstar, good communication with fast answer, fast shipping, good packaging and the Webley rifle is really nice.
I am happy, especially after receiving a shipping refund automatically.

I was so happy in fact that I placed another order after asking information about a Norinco Olympia pistol I wanted as I got an emailed answer in 15 minutes with answers to all my questions!

from what i read, he still has some interest in the company but nolonger runs the place, thats not a bad arrangement cos john has extensive knowledge particularly about contracts and contacts.
 
Yea, he was easily upset, but of all the items I have bought, it was/is a good experience so far, gotta take a person how you find them! Some great deals, look at the type54 Chinese surplus pistol, best price, Marstar include 2 mags, gun is new old stock. $199. Get some!

Coldfire, we don't intentionally ignore emails. I do try to respond to all emails within one business day. Could you confirm which email address you sent the email to, and could you give me the date time of your last email so I can look into whats going on? Alternatively, we do maintain a 1-888 number for exactly this kind of reason. Feel free to give me a call and I'll do my best to respond.

I placed several orders last weekend. One from Marstar and two from the US. Both orders have been shipped from the US and are half way here with shipping confirmation and tracking. Haven't heard a thing from Marstar, not even sure they got the order or have the items. No notifications at all. So much for supporting Canadian business. I'm sure the order will show up, but they are a bit out of date with normal customer expectations, like by a decade.
 
Have dealt with Marstar for years, never had an issue. Always able to speak to staff and get emails in a timely manner. John was a crusty old guy but to be honest with you i just never paid much attention to it.
 
Have placed several orders with Marstar in the past year, have never had an issue with emails, phone contacts, special order requests, returns/exchanges, or shipping. And one of the few retailers that had the E2341 petition on the front page of their website.

Only ordered two thing from Marstar in the past.
My 1897 reproduction in.... 2014? I got it within the week, think 4 days after ordering.
And a 4x Leapers UTG T-dot sight from a Father’s Day special. Think that one took 10 days, pretty happy with both purchases all things considered.
T-Dot lives on my T97, and the shotgun is just a pile of fun regardless of loads.
The only “Trouble” I’d ever had with the shotgun is learning to push the forend forward before pulling it towards me to cycle the action initially.

Nope. New here so I am not sure what you are talking about.

Is it the usual treatment for new members that are happy after a store transaction on this forum? I thought it was all about helping the community.....

He was or is the owner and it came to be they were selling danger firearms..
Must be careful as this topic seems to trigger some people.. check post#9
