I guess whether it's worth it will come down to how bad the factory trigger is . I bought a new 10/22 Laminated Target heavy barrel and bought a BX trigger right away . In hindsight , it was a bit better then the stock trigger but not worth the cost . The difference was small . Maybe my factory trigger was unusually good though ? Who knows ? I've seen some regular 10/22's with pretty crappy , heavy triggers and for these guns , it be would an almost mandatory upgrade . It would be much better .
If money’s not an issue just buy a Kidd trigger. There are none better. I’ve owned pretty much all of them. If money is the problem buy a trigger upgrade kit and rebuild ur own original and it will be better than the BX. Just my personal opinion and experience.
I thought the Laminated Target heavy barrel 10/22 had a factory upgraded trigger

im pretty sure or at one time i know the VLEH and Target 10/22 came with a trigger that was a step up from the normal 10/22 trigger right from the factory.
so you may have already had one of the upgraded triggers in your gun since it was a Target one.
