Spring Bear Guns

Always look at guns and ammo when I have the chance. Notice in the last 2 weeks that the shelves of ammo locally have gone from stocked to basically:

300 Win Mag
303 British
40 S&W
20 gauge

As far as legal for big game hunting in BC goes.

Lots of 22 and 410 as well.

Guess this means all the bear hunters have bought all the ammo and those are the least popular spring bear cartridges.

You can easily kill a bear with those calibers minus the 40 S&W. Really depends on the style of hunting.

- Model 95 Winchester (recent acquisition) in....303Br.

CF8506, cotton wad, then cream of wheat filler to halfway up the neck.
