I am considering ordering one of these but have never handled or even seen one in person.
Thoughts,opinions?
Are barrels interchangeable with any other makes?
Thanks

I got one in 20GA, looks almost like a 870. Minus the rear of the receiver is slightly different. Heard the same thing that you cannot change the barrels. Mine uses the same Chokes as a Mossberg though. This is my second one, the first one had a bent rib, and shot low/left.

Thanks for your input guys.
Seems decent for the $ but
I ended up going the D. A Grizzly route due to 870 barrel compatabily

Where did you buy it if you don't mind me asking?

Mine was 1/2 the cost than a Rem 870, and good enough for what Ill use it for. It may be Chinese. It is just as smooth as a New production Remington. Feeding, Cycling, It didn't feel rough.

Who are you trying to kid not this old remington 870 nut. My worst existing examples of dozens of 870 is leaps and bounds better including one from the bottom of a boat in water for years
The few I have seen were for lack of a better word trash compared to any year or any model remington 870
Like they used to say some will limp to work in a chevette and be happy some will cruise in a corvette
Even the maverick 88 is a better gun and that says a lot IMO
To each their own
Just for giggles have you ever owned a wingmaster. My guess is no if so try one some day and let me know what you think then
Take care

Are you implying an 870 is a corvette?;)

Noticed where I said... "NEW PRODUCTION"... ? Guess not. Everybody complain about new 870s being garbage.

A HP9 when they first came out and will have to agree that it was poorly made. My H&R is 10x better. But to your question. YES 2 Wingmasters, Had a Wingmaster at my disposal overseas. Owned A Rem 1100 and Rem 1187.

But have you owned a new H&R Partner Pump?

I've had an old wingmaster that my brother bought brand new back in 1968 and it was a great gun. But don't tell me that all 870's are good because they aren't. I've had a 870 super mag and it was ok but not better than just ok. The last 870 express I had was a piece of junk. Wouldn't eject a shell worth a damn, sometimes I had to bounce the buttstock on the ground just to eject a spent shell. Yes I got rid of that crap gun.
You can BS some people but don't tell me all 870's are good. And as far as my new H&R Pardner 20 gauge goes it was $265 new at P&D and I never had a lick of problems with it.

Ya and notice where I said ALL even new production 870's. Not sure what owning a remington semi has to do with this .Everyone or the internet big difference
If you owned and shot wingmasters you should know better
Like I said to each their own and enjoy what you have

And in two- five minutes that express would have been flawless in the right hands.
Seems owning a 870 remington today and having it work with zero issues is not in the capability or brain capacity of everyone which is fine. No wonder warranty is such a big deal today with firearms
It is not me spreading BS just stating facts
How many 1000 rounds have you fired out of that H&R

take care

Then you cannot say what is better. You never owned one, shot one, handled one. Your opinion is nothing more than wanting to hear yourself talk.

Your 870 wouldn't eject??? That's strange. I had one that ejected all too well...and ejected the full shell with it instead of cycling it into the chamber.
