Why do all of the tactical shotguns seem to be getting bought up lately?

Just to plug another vendor, Theammosource has free shipping over $150 . . . I picked up a Hatsan Marine Guard 14" pump in SS - the last they had. And some ammo, too. It's half-way here to NB, landed in Que today, via UPS. Hope they don't play with it ;-)
This'll keep my Hatsan full-size 12g and Girsan 12g semi some company on those dark gun-safe nites ;-0

What, no Beretta 1301 tactical love. That's a Shame, missing out on a beast.

Have one on the way with about 400 rounds of slugs. Let the zombies come! (Well, at least in a couple of weeks once Canada Post manages to deliver everything to me!)

It's actually kinda funny that so many people are buying up tacticool shotguns at a time that is close to when they think they may have to use them. Out of all the various modern platforms out there, the tactical shotgun is arguably the one that requires the most skill, training, and practice to run effectively when the excrement impacts the rotary ventilation device. Short-stroking the gun, not understanding how shot pattern changes over distance, shells all over the floor from reloads that have never been practiced, not being ready to manage the recoil from 00 or slugs.

I'm not casting aspersions upon the fighting shotgun as a platform - I own a pair of them...I'm just saying that folks who haven't already invested the time and money to gain competence with them might be better served with something that feeds from a magazine, and perhaps comes with a slightly more genteel experience for the operator. Then again - I like shooting medium bore rifles that weigh in at seven pounds and change, so my interpretation of genteel is pretty warped.

Agree... These guy have the same thinking with some many people buying a new shotgun

They do seem to be moving quick. My KSG sold within a day of it being reposted after I had it up for weeks this winter :) Managed to get my hands on an MK12 for a great price before it got snapped up by someone else.

Also, "when the excrement impacts the rotary ventilation device" made my day hahaha

On the other hand: pump shotguns are one of the most common sporting guns. Lots of guys I know, who have never heard of IPSC or 3 Gun, have put thousands upon thousands of rounds through pump guns. Lots of them 3" or 3.5" goose loads from sitting position (lay out blind).

If those guys decide they want a home defence gun, while a pump shotgun is the natural choice and they would put most tactical guys to shame using one.

Semis are well represented in the duck blind too.

I’ve bought three in the last six weeks a Fabarm 11” STF 12 (nicest pump I’ve ever fired) Turkenelli Tac 12 semi, and a Almost new Benelli M4 Entry for $1550. Can’t wait till the Benelli gets here!!

Hi CGN, Is it just me or have a ton of tactical shotguns been getting sold lately, I was debating a Mossberg 590a1 and couldn't help but notice that they are moving fast. Anyone know why?

They're out there is some of the less likely locations, just got my 590A1 at CTC, not to bad a price once you consider the grope and search tax on top.

Ammo, everywhere just need to get online or beat the pavement.

Cheers
