Another Swiss Arms PE90 thread

As of 1 Jan 08, FN Sports/R Nicholls will be the importer. Sauer in Germany is handling the worldwide distribution of SAN, and they have restructured and are using their present distributor network.
We will continue to provide technical support.

Very sorry to hear that. Your customer service is leaps and bounds better than FN Sports. Pm me if you still have accessories for it and I'll try to expedite my buying plans. Sad day for us PE90 fans for sure.
 
We will continue to carry accessories and parts. SAN has been quite poor in planning production over the past 2 years. Things are improving and we expect to see better supply of guns over the next years. I don't think anyone will be disappointed.

Does this mean that future rifles/carbines will no longer carry the TSE logo etched into the receiver? How will this affect availability? How reliable is FN supplying its many dealers?
 
Can we even get stuff through R.Nicholl/FN Sports??

This is the worst ####ing news in the century.

I think we should start a petition with Swiss Arms to have a separate distribtuion agreement for Canada.

Forgive me for being thick...
Does R.Nicholl/FN Sports have a poor reputation, or is the concern that the end-user won't be able to deal directly with the importer?

This is not a SAN decision, they were happy with us.

Again, this is not a SAN decision. They are owned by the same group that owns SIGARMs, Blaser, Sauer etc. This is a corporate decision to streamline distribution.

You bet they have!

Nicholls is a distributor, they dont sell guns direct to the buyer, unless youre LE agency or military.

Very very bad service from them! they dont really care about us civilians, they do most of their business with law enforcement, security companies and the military, dont even try to talk with them , the only thing theyll tell you is to contact a dealer, even if it's only a for a technical question.

Just try to get parts or service repair for any firearms line they carry, it will be a real nightmare, i'm sure a lot of people here could tell you some horror story about them.

In the past i tried to get parts from them (thru a dealer of course) but no luck, they simply ignore me! no answer, nothing!

Quite the opposite with TSE, with TSE you get an answer to your email almost instantly, whether it is for a technical question, service or avaibility of stock, parts.

Yes it is indeed a very bad decision from Sauer!

I dont know what's behind the love affair between Sauer and Nicholls, but it must be very strong.
