It's stupidity like this that drives the community apart and allows the anti-gun agenda to keep on rolling the way it has been. Just because you aren't a boot licking conservative, doesn't mean you are anti-gun. Most of the people in this forum are guilty of being part of the problem. Way too much division and injecting personal views/opinions into things, where the people that might've sided with you on the merit of being a firearm owner, will do the opposite in spite. Similar to how some folks vote for Trump down south just to watch their country burn because they are fed up.

It's great watching the infighting continue up to the very moment Trudeau and friends make good on their promises. Shows real solidarity and really helps to advance our cause.....

Correct me if im wrong,dont majority of liberals want guns banned?isnt it the majority of liberals want open borders?isnt the majority of liberals that have been instrumental in fkn our country into a 3rd world identiy?and isnt it true that we as gun owners have gone above and beyond in being civil and law abiding to the antis?so in my opinion a lot of gun owners are fed up with being crapped on by the left ..thus i say to all that care fk the libs and their ideology....and no im not sorry for my attitude....

Yes I agree Conservatives are not a lot better, but they are not trying to disarm us, not yet anyways.

So considering that at one time the Kenny government said they would not support any sort of gun ban by the federal government, has anyone heard anything from them?

We're concerned about the list because at the end of the day, in spite of all the tough talk on here, the list will most likely be enacted.

Decades of anti-gun advocacy in this country. And every time the law gets changed for good or for bad, people beat their chests and accept it. There will be no revolutions in the near future.
 
Email everyone! I sent variations of this letter to Bill Blair, my MP, Doug Ford, Andrew Scheer, even Justin Trudeau himself. We need to let them all know that they do not have our consent! If this happens we must all roar with one voice for Trudeau’s removal from office! Take the time. Do it. The time for talk is nearing an end

I am contacting you out of grave concern regarding the liberal governments plan to circumvent democratic process. It has been raised that the Prime Minister is intending to use an Order in Council to ban legally acquired property from Canada’s most responsible and patriotic Canadians. I implore you, and the government do not destroy our democracy that many have fought and died for. The reason we have parliament is for democratic debate, and to ensure the rights and freedoms of Canadians are not trampled on by a reigning government. I am deeply saddened, like you, and the government by the violence committed in Nova Scotia, and in the inner cities. I assure you however, these types of bans will have zero impact on public safety. Criminals don’t care about laws, and never will. The Firearms Act already has the written laws that should have prevented these atrocities from happening. The problem is, that weapons are brought in from outside our country by criminals, and are not obtained legally. Then used illegally by other criminals. All these types of bans will do is create more “criminals” out of otherwise law abiding and patriotic Canadians. There is a place for debate about our laws, but bypassing democratic process is a slippery slope towards dictatorships. All an Order in Council will do is create a deafening cry from Canadians to remove this Prime Minister and his party from office. Nothing more. It is sickening that this administration would use the current crisis we are experiencing with COVID 19, and stand on the graves of the loved ones lost in Nova Scotia to political advantage, bypassing democracy. Please do not spit on the graves of our forefathers and in the faces of your fellow Canadians. Do the right thing and open up fair debate on this issue and all other issues facing Canadians. It is your duty to uphold democracy not to turn your backs on it.

This is a nicely written email friend and I truly hope he see's this and considers this, however it will be deleted as he receives them with a smile by the hundreds without being looked at. How this government was elected by its voter base was by emotional people being whipped up into a mob before they calm down and think rationally. This is how they have always garnered support was by getting people to stop being rational and act on emotions.

The only thing that will work now is by turning that emotional mob back against them by everyone clogging up the system with an assortment of paperwork and court dates to the point that their people beg this party to retract this act because it is costing time and money.
