Yeah the circle jerk of giving them more ideas. Never ceases to amaze me how naive many on this forum are. This website is littered with people paid to ruin our lives and especially with our own tax money. Think people.
this post is accurate 100%, the systems revolve around correspondence, and although it might be possible to digitalize/virtualize some of it, it legally can't be done because not everybody has the technology or know how to use it. In other words, if everybody applies, this will collapse the system very rapidly.
For the love of god don't join one of the Canuck Orgs. serious waste of $$. What the hell have they done for us but travel around to events on the org dime and make useless FB videos. Oh and squabble about money, admin and expense accounts. Use your money and donate to a Political candidate that will promise to repeal this overbearing, communist nonsense. If the ORGS really cared about guns in this country they would put away their differences and join together; what a push that a united group would have. As is, they are garbage.

CCFR has been doing a great job within the limits of funds they receive.
Not only you are cheap enough to get a $35 membership to support our pro gun lobby organization, but also you are discouraging others here from doing so ???? - a DISGRACE to a firearm community !

Another half witted retort from someone that is a disgrace to literacy. Try reading before you open your mouth. I am saying that the ORGS in this country are a waste of money. Use your funds more wisely and support a Politician that will have a positive effect on gun policy. Can we collectively name one Gun policy win that can be attributed to the ORGS? NOPE. I can name several that were a direct result of electing a pro gun (or less anti gun) Government one being the scrapping of the long gun registry. I can categorically say I have done more for the gun community than 95% of owners out there...especially someone like you. The ORGS should stop wasting money and amalgamate into one then I will support it.

CCFR does about as much as the people kicking and screaming on this forum, only they do it on the dime of their donors. All the people slobbering on Rod and Tracey's knob is humorous to say the very least. Not only did they know this was coming (as we all did), there was quite literally nothing done aside from renting an RV and driving around to gun shops (People who are already pro gun) and jerking them off for more donos. It's a farce. Anyone who thinks that they are doing anything for our community, should come have a look at the bridge I have for sale. The only group I consider to be worthy of the donation that is firearms exclusive, is the CSSA, as they at least offer programs to help get younger generations into shooting sports, and like wise with OFAH or the respective hunter/angler groups.
A group that makes maybe bi-weekly blog posts, rants on youtube or facebook even less frequently, accomplishes what exactly? When they only reach the people who donate to them and the pro-gun community, it does absolutely nothing to help us, but most certainly helps them stay paid. I'd rather spend my $35 on some more ammo or some gas to get out and shoot.

I'm a life member of the CSSA, the CCFR and the OFAH. Unfortunately I also can't argue with any of the posts above me. Things have been FUBARed since the Sheldon fiasco with the NFA, regardless of who was at fault.
Only politics moves this issue. Yes lobbying is lobbying....but it doesn't seem to have gotten us very far. Interviews on CTV and CBC are about the best thing the populace can see, and even those are framed to paint in poor light.

Everyone is pissed off. So am I. Once I finished my tantrum, I joined the CPC and sent some cash to Erin O'Toole. Is it the right thing to do, or will it make any difference? Who the phuque knows?? Nobody knows for sure.
I wrote a letter to my MPP, and letters to the PM and Blair and all the senators. I'm a member of the the CCFR and I donate. Hope I can muster the balls for passive non-compliance. Time will tell.

All this bickering back and forth is exactly what we don’t need right now! We need to pull together we are under attack from every angle and we are still fighting amongst ourselves! For once can we work together get this dictator out of power! For once can we stand together as Gun owners, I love the shooting sports, And I love to hunt, and all my friends and some of the best people I have met were because we were both passionate about firearms. I am getting sick of being stepped on by all the minority’s that hate our way of life. It’s time for us to stop doing most the work for our enemies, we need to stop fighting in our own community first together we are strong with a giant voice and could be a force to be reckoned with, but divided were just a bunch bitter grown men and women bickering on the internet. Come on guys and gals We’re better then this!

Why would I throw $35 of my hard earned money at an organization that doesn't have a track record of accomplishing ####-all? They are underfunded because a majority of gun owners see through their bull#### and call it what it is. It's not being cheap, it's making sure my money goes where it's not only needed, but deserved. The best example right now, is to look at the response the CCFR posted to the bans, then read the one the CSSA posted. One is blabbering about the same #### they have been all along, the other outlines a proper action plan and reads like something you would expect from a professional organization. Would you pay me $35/year to wear a don't take my guns shirt?

I hope it plays that way or better. We have to try and read ahead of this, yes.. but we also have to keep calm. Lets not all run out and buy hand sanitizer when we cant leave the house and have a perfectly good sink.
