Gravel Agency Experience?

Gravel Agency was really good to work with, I had a Remington 700 that would not group well and I sent it in for warranty, within three weeks they notified me the barrel was bent - factory defect. They replaced the rifle and staff was easy to speak with. I would give them a try

I had a trigger issue with my Remington 870 Police Magnum 12 gauge and instead of sending my 870 which I am sentimental over all the way to Onterrible I just found a quicker solution which cost me about $150. The solution was to just replace the trigger group and buy a new trigger group at Italian Sporting goods. If you can afford to find a quicker solution to your problem that may cost you a bit of money, but save you a huge headache then I would do that. It's your gun do what you want with it.

Had an issue with a 22-250 a few years back. Sent the gun in and had to call several / many times to get any updates. In the end they came through and got me a replacement gun...after a good 6 month wait.
I would use them again.

Thanks for all the input guys, its seems like its a hit and miss when it comes to service. I know things are going to probably take longer due to this covid19 and with Remington being shutdown currently so if a replacement barrel needs to be brought in it might take a while. Really hoping they will cover shipping... but that might be asking for too much. I will say that this has defiantly put me off Remington products. I'm surprised it passed any QC.

avoid that place like Covid-19

Couldn't agree more.

I ordered a part from them, it came and didn't fit altho they said it would, they then tried to hose me 15% restock fee and return shipping ... I balked ... then they graciously offered no restock fee ... I balked again ... finally after several emails over a few weeks they finally sent me a shipping label then took their sweet time crediting my card.

I would never, ever deal with them again.

Sent in a S&W revolver 2 months ago. I haven't even received an email acknowledging that they've gotten it. Communication was great until I sent it in, then things died.

Funny how that happens ... had a similar experience not long ago, 6 months to do a 1 hr repair in spite of a promised 1 month turn around

I'm in the same situation as the OP. Bought a brand new 870 Express Tactical and there's a burr inside the forend that is causing this scratch on the magazine tube. I can see that the scratch is getting worst everytime I rack the shotgun. Gravel told me to send it in for warranty but at my own shipping cost to them. Really leaves a bad taste in my mouth for having to deal with a poorly manufactured shotgun that's never been shot and shipping it at my own cost. Still contenplating if I should send it in or not.

pictures to show the scratch:

I had to send back a Marlin 336 recently. They had great communications and resolved my issue with a replacement as soon as the had the rifle in stock. Have also in the past purchased replasemeny parts with success.

For me it was a different Marlin model, same result.
