The Battle Rifle Pictures Thread

Hey Bartok, what sort of groups are you getting with the Tavor? About on par with the 556 models?

I know you're not asking me, but IWI had to delay the release of the Tavor 7 because it had major accuracy issues. From what I've read/seen, it's nothing to call home about. Definitely take "main battle rifle" to heart and not "designated marksman rifle" like most of us like.

I haven't fired the Tavor 7 for groups with 168gr FGMM yet, so cannot comment as to whether IWI managed to get the accuracy down to 1.5 MOA with match ammo as they have claimed. The "rework" that IWI did was to take the accuracy from 3 MOA (considered to great for North American tastes) down to a consistent 1.5 MOA with match ammo. We shall see, but my initial experience with 150 gr South African surplus battlepack ammo was guite positive. I had no problem ringing an IPSC silhouette at 300m and later 500m. The latter was a challenge with my 1-8x Trijicon, but the Tavor 7 eventually got it done and rung. I would guess that I was getting approximately 2 MOA out of the SA surplus ammo.

Almost there, just missing a crucial part...

This one time I was lurking the EE late at night and came across an SL7 with an NR barrel.

I was pretty stoked and snapped it up as fast as I could.

Nice

Whenever I see something rare that I want on the EE it's snapped up by the time I respond

It clicks in like a standard magpul riser. I found a 1st gen,1st run skinny magpul UBR riser on the paintball forums. Then I had to do a bit, not much, dremeling of the .75 MOE cheek riser to fit. I was about to 3d print one when I got lucky and picked up the correct pieces.

2020 can suck my ass. Started snowing again for April 1st, but at least we got out for some advanced paper punching on the weekend.
