Do you want to ask a question that begs the answer "Thank you for giving us your feedback, we will ban them in the next round?"
They already know about them, and went out of their way not to include them. My question is, why?
I agree with you but this is all preplanned and we can't do much except:
1) fight for our rights in the courts
2) vote the Trudeau Liberals out of office (normal Liberals don't care about firearms, they care about political power)
The reality is that the Trudeau Liberals plan to ban to everything except for pure hunting rifles and shotguns.
They will then ban specific types of hunting firearms as dangerous and not necessary to hunt after they are used in a major crime.
This is exactly what happened in the UK where the last major crime that I can remember involved a bolt-action 22lr rifle!!!
(Criminals now use illegal firearms and knifes to kill innocents but no one talks about this)
So here is Trudeau secret master plan:
* ban "tacticool" firearms (mostly done),
* ban semi rifles,
* ban semi shotguns,
* ban pump action shotguns,
* ban 'high capacity' centre-fire firearms (more than 3-4 cartridges in magazine),
* ban high powered long distance rifle (already started)
We'll end up a bolt-action rifle, double shotgun and bolt-action rimfire since you "need" any other type of firearm to hunt.

Seriously people shut up and spend more time on your #### sites. You're your own worst enemies at times.
An AR-15 has never been used in a mass event in Canada either...... yet here we are.
I found it weird some rifles from Canada, China and Israel were excluded.
My guess is that Trudeau is afraid of political backlash.
(We know for a fact that he’s very scared of China)
Alex
Not really, this was all preplanned by Trudeau Liberals, they were just waiting for a major crime involving firearms.
Just look at what Trudeau asked because of Covid-19 crisis:
1) unlimited right to tax and spend for 2 years - refused by the parliament
2) enforce emergency act - refused by provincial premiers
The situation is very serious and discussing it is good as long as it leads to action.

Why does every post need to have a point attached to it?we all know that. What is the point you are trying to make?
Re: Tavor.
In my opinion, he is trying to score some points with the Jewish community - it's havily integrated with Israel in Montreal and GTA and appearing too anti-Israel right now may cost him seats in the next elections. Antisemitism has risen dramatically during his stay in power, largely because of his actions, so he has to tread carefully.
Except the Jewish orgs in Canada seem to be firmly in the civil disarmament camp. Quite a perverse position to take, considering Jewish history
Well, it's a little bit more complicated than that. The community is very vocally led by the rabbis and these guys are almost all pacifists. In reality, their influence is dwindling and at the same time, the Israeli diaspora has grown quite a bit in the later years, especially in GTA - and these guys Mostly hate Libs with a passion.
What the Turd is afraid of, in my opinion, is that the Israelis will sway the rest of them. Rabbis are definitely losing ground all the time, Jewish community orgs are ALL Israeli agents (yes, that's true), so he may find one day that the whole mishpuha suddenly decides they don't like Libs anymore. BTW, this is something the Conservatives should work on - try to flip these Jewish communities.
Right now, in these communities, the Lib voters regard Trudeau as a somewhat harmful antisemitic turd (he is exactly that). He brought in various Islamo-fascist #######s into the party, mouthed off about Israel (very few Jews regard that positively) and caused the antisemitism to rise. So he has to tread lightly and give them cash (rabbis REALLY like cash).
Oh, and BTW, I'm a Jew, so don't label me an antisemite.![]()
