My first real build.

Old 1980s receiver cerakoated
Walnut stock i had been saving which i did my first bedding job on. After I opened the barrel channel out.
Mcgowen 18" SS barrel from mystic,
BX trigger.
Leupold VX2 3-9 i had laying around.

Now waiting for a range to open.

Here's mine. Remmy 597 LSS premier. removed the remmy scope, added bushnell sportsman 3-9x32, weaver base/rings/mounts. Rock steady bi-pod (9-13). All the little tweakings, and she'll hopefully shoot like a dream.

Just bought this guy off of a member here for a birthday present for myself. GSG-16 with the dlask 9" barrel. Currently working on securing the rail delete and aligning/mounting the drum sight. SO KEWL!

Got my chassis and glass for my TX1! Range tomorrow!

May 29th update. Got to the range this morning. I managed to shoot a couple of 1/2” groups at 50 yard and 1” at 100 yards in between the variable wind (up to 15 kph). I could tell when it was good to shoot because the black flies would get behind my glasses. I wish more of the groups were sub MOA but my wind reading skills need improvement. No trouble hitting the 200 yard gong every time though (not sure if it is a 6 or 8 inch). Ammo was CCI AR-Tactical.
